LittleAppley has a complicated history. On saturday september 7 2024 I was rather bored. I wanted to buy a new domain, but I couldn't decide on one. I just knew that I wanted a .co.uk or .uk domain as they are a lot cheaper than a .com these days. I went to Namecheap for ideas, and thought I'd have a look at their marketplace. And there I found Little Appleby.

I had no idea what it had been originally bought for, but I love apples, so I bought it. To my amazement I found out that it have been bought on april 22 2021 for 5 years. So though I paid less than $10, I have it until april 2026. Plenty of time to decide what I want to do with it!

I did some digging, and found out that Little Appley is a rather lovely Victorian house on the Isle of Wight. It was originally a gentleman's residence and later became a boys' school. THe actor Jeremy Irons was a pupil there. There is also an ancient wood named Little Appley on the Isle of Wight. If you are interested there are links to sites about them on my Links page.
